The largest of our Wilkinson Glide range, our 10″ Wilkinson Glide Lightweight Dressmaking and Upholstery Shears are super sharp yet lightweight dressmaking and upholstery scissors, with Teflon-coated blades. Ideal for dressmaking and upholstery as their lightweight, comfortable plastic handles can be picked up time and time again whilst still remaining comfortable to use.
Particularly ideal for anyone who suffers with arthritis in the hand or struggles to lift heavy 10″ or above traditional scissors and shears, but still wishes to use a larger shear for long cuts.
The middle size scissors from our Wilkinson Glide range, our 8.25″ Wilkinson Glide Lightweight Dressmaking and Upholstery Shears are also super sharp yet lightweight dressmaking and also feature Teflon-coated blades. The smaller size makes them easier for achieving shorter, more accurate cuts.
The smallest size from our Wilkinson Glide range, our 6″ Wilkinson Glide Sewing Scissors are ideal for smaller cuts required in upholstery and dressmaking as they enable you to achieve accurate cuts in fiddly places and corners.
The largest of our Wilkinson Glide DIY and General Purpose range, these are tough yet lightweight general purpose DIY scissors, with teflon-coated hollow ground blades. Ideal for DIY as they are great for cutting through tougher stuff such as textiles, canvas, rubber, carpet and underlay, felt, rope, plastic film, paper and card.
Plastic handles are comfortable and ergonomic, offset for ease of use and made from a dishwasher-proof high quality plastic.
The smallest of our Wilkinson Glide general purpose scissors, our 8.25″ DIY and General Purpose scissors are still tough and feature the same Teflon-coated hollow ground blades as their larger brother. Still capable of getting through tough stuff such as textiles, canvas, rubber, carpet and underlay, they are still small enough to keep in the kitchen drawer for more every day cutting jobs.
