Connell of Sheffield makes each sheath by hand from premium vegetable-tanned cowhide shoulder. Skilled leatherworkers carefully cut, burnish and stitch every piece using traditional leathercraft techniques.
Based in a small independent workshop, Connell is part of Sheffield’s proud manufacturing heritage. The close-knit team includes a mother and daughter who work side by side, bringing care and attention to every sheath.
Made to age beautifully
The rich oxblood leather develops its own character over time. As you use it, the leather will naturally age and develop a unique finish.
The sturdy leather also provides reliable protection for your shears between uses. As a result, your scissors stay secure, protected and ready for your next project. Natural variations in the leather grain and finish mean that no two sheaths look exactly alike.
