Connell of Sheffield makes each sheath by hand from premium vegetable-tanned cowhide shoulder. Their skilled leatherworkers use traditional techniques to carefully cut, burnish and stitch every piece.
Based in a small independent workshop, Connell is part of Sheffield’s rich manufacturing heritage. The close-knit team includes a mother and daughter who work side by side, bringing care and attention to every sheath they make.

The rich oxblood leather develops character with use, becoming even more beautiful over time. Natural variations in the leather’s grain and finish mean that every sheath has its own unique appearance.
